Summary

From the publisher:

Brigit O'Donnell comes for a visit in the tunnels, instigating battles between her and Diana, as well as between Vincent and Diana. Devin also appears, creating havoc and laughs as always.

Reactions and Reviews

A 4th season Vincent/Diana story involving the return of motormouth Brigit O'Donnell, who monopolizes V.

D, unable and unwilling to compete, withdraws. Both V and D are too insecure to make the first move, or respond to the other's overtures. It takes deus-ex-machina Devin to deflect Brigit, and both Devin and Father, virtually kidnapping D to C's cabin in CT (where they've seen to it that V is, too), to make these two overwhelmingly shy, insecure people finally start to reconcile and admit they've missed each other immensely.

There's a misleading, steamy dream sequence, but the hottest it really gets is a chaste but warm hug. Not wholeheartedly romantic, true, but good characterization and, as always, good writing. Some Gipson line drawings; Dragon cover. [1]
