Heartlines, often stylised as HEARTLINES or heartlines, is a Keith/Lance witch AU novel zine written by Bleusarcelle and illustrated by Kiilea for the Voltron: Legendary Defender fandom.
The zine was originally released as a paid product with both physical and digital versions but has since become freely available to download. [1]
Zine Summary
Most of the town's elders say the woods themselves are a library.
They're rich with stories that just a few souls have lived and a few others have shared.
The woods have been the witnesses of them all through the centuries. Some of them ending in tragedies, others being the start of a love story.
Now they witness the story of a soul inside a man who was born with a curse.
His magic being like poison that runs through his veins and yet doesn't kill him. It's dangerous and at its core there's only fire.
But where there's a tragedy, there's also hope.
It's found where the woods see a new story bubbling to life next to the oldest willow tree, this one of a soul inside a man that was kissed by the sun itself and left its warmth on his skin.
His magic is the water that provides and comforts when pain strikes. It's gentle and at its core there's only beauty.
The woods are yet to decide if they shall be each other's endings or beginnings.[1]
