Hart of Dixie is a CW medical comedy-drama show that stars Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart.
Canon
Dr. Zoe Hart is a New Yorker who after her dreams of becoming a heart surgeon fall apart, and joins a job as a general practitioner in the small town of Bluebell, Alabama - where her real father worked before he died. There she falls in love with the small town and the people there.
Fandom
Compared to some of the other CW fandoms such as The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl, the fandom for Hart of Dixie is generally very small with only over 500 works at FFN and over 100 works at AO3[1]. The fandom is mainly on FFN and on LiveJournal. The fandom has since started appearing on Tumblr.
