The Harry Potter Art Exchange (HPAE) was a Harry Potter fanart gift exchange held three times a year. Its last moderator was __hibiscus, and karasu_hime as a co-mod.
The Harry Potter Art Exchange is an open, art-only exchange community - you give art, you get art. The HPAE is not ship-centric or character-specific and it calls on fanartists of any and all skill levels and fandom experience to converge, interact, and share their talents with one another!
The exchange allows "drawn traditional (pencil, watercolour, etc.) and digital (Photoshop, Poser, Gimp or similar) art [and] sculpture [and] hand-made pieces," and does not allow graphics, manips, layouts, or icons. All ratings and pairings (including slash and femslash) are accepted, but due to the possibility of adult-rated art, artists are required to be at least 16 years old to participate.[1]
