While no official relationship other than co-workers/partners existed between the two until the very end of the series, the het pairing of Harm/Mac became a fan favorite from the day Major Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie walked onscreen in the second season of JAG.
TPTB tantalized and teased fans throughout the seasons with each character admitting feelings for the other at various times, but always kept the two apart with various excuses and significant others. The pairing became endgame at the end of the 10th and final season.
