Reception and Popularity

The theme tune for Guile, composed by Yoko Shimomura, specifically the version from the CP System II release of Super Street Fighter II, is the subject of a mashup internet phenomenon named "Guile's Theme Goes With Everything", in which the music is perceived to synchronize with clips from films and other media, regardless of their content.[1]
