Kidswap is the name of a common trope in Homestuck fanworks. In these AUs, the family and other associated themes and motifs of the Homestuck kids are swapped. The specific aspects that are swapped vary between various executions of the AU but can include swapped guardians, colors, personality, symbols, classes, aspects, and more. Kidswap AUs are frequently done in conjunction with bloodswap AUs.
