Green Jello was a group of Hanson fans based in New York that did not think of themselves as a traditional fan club, in the sense that they did not have any official process for accepting new members.
The group was rather notorious in the fandom for their behavior. From a discussion on alt.fan.hanson:[1]
OK, Green Jello is a group in NYC made up of a bunch of friends. (Important point: they don't except new members as far as I know.) What they do, is whenever Hanson is in NYC, they follow them around, mostly at their hotel. And, if you missed it, Hanson (well, Zac) said hi to them on Rosie O'Donnell (the 2nd one) because they, like, begged them to. That's about all, at least that's about all I know.
