THIS GUIDEBOOK IS A FAMILIARIZATION GUIDE FOR USE BY STARFLEET PERSONNEL STATIONED WITH THE STARFLEET DIPLOMATIC OUTPOST ON TAU LACERTAE IX AND STARFLEET TECHNICAL ADVISORS ATTACHED TO THE GORN ALLIANCE SPACEFLEET: PLEASE REFER TO MICROFICHE FILE G312.769 FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.
Foreword: Since our first tragic territorial disputes, long since amically [sic] resolved, we of the Federation have found the peoples of the Gorn Alliance to be valuable allies, good trading partners, and fast friends to the Federation. In the years since initial contact, both groups have learned and grown: and with the increasing Klingo-Romulan threat, it is more important than ever that we and the Gorns work together and build abetter chance for a free galaxy. Hopefully, this guide will aid starfleet personnel in better understanding our friends and allies, the Gorns.
