GoDaikoCon (aka Go! Daiko-Con, Godaikocon!, or GDC) was a fan-run 3-day anime con in southeast Michigan. It was originally named Anime Detroit for the 2009 and 2010 events, but "there was a change in attitude and managment and the old name of Anime Detroit no longer fit our new style".[1]
Godaiko (五大湖) is the Japanese term for the Great Lakes.
