My favourite story by the indomitable KyRoka. It is so very touching a theme. How far will a character go after losing the one they love? And will true love triumph in the end? The concept behind it is so simple that it amazed me I hadn't really considered it, and yet it works here quite well. I don't need the scientific techno-babble explained. All that matters is that a selfless act is committed out of love and grief ... and the most beautiful of gifts is received in turn. [1]
