There is no shortage of AUs where Blair discovers Jim in desparate need of help with his senses. This story is a much rarer breed: Blair is the one living as a brittle, damaged shut-in, trying to control a gift that's more of a curse and making a living as a hacker to avoid coming into contact with other people.[1]
It's a long time since I read this one. I love this damaged, reclusive Blair and the instant pull he feels to Jim. I must go and read it again.[2]
