Garv/Valgarv, Gaav/Valgaav or Garv/Val is the yaoi pairing of Garv and Valgarv in the Slayers fandom.
In Japanese they have a pairing name Garval or Gaarval (jp. ガーヴァル, Gāvu~aru), but it's not common.
Canon
During the Kōma War, Val remained the last ancient dragon after all his relatives were slaughtered by the golden dragons. Heavily wounded he was found by Chaos Dragon Garv, who offered him a place at his side. Val took his offer and was recreated as half-mazoku by new name, Valgarv. He became blindly loyal to his new Lord. However it's not clear whether it was his personal attitude and gratitude for salvation or just congenital behavior as Mazoku servant.
After death of his master Valgarv vowed to revenge on those who killed Garv.
Valgarv was created exclusively for the anime Slayes Try, which often contradicts the original light-novels. For example, it was not mentioned if Gaav and Valgarv had a contact through the Mazoku Barrier or they just did not see each other for hundreds of years.
