G.A.T.E.S. Newsletter is the unofficial newsletter for fans of Gates McFadden.
It was published four times a year for the fan-run fan club for McFadden called G.A.T.E.S. Fan Club.

G.A.T.E.S. Newsletter 3 was published in Fall 1991 and contains 20 pages.
It was edited by LeeAnn McCann, co-editor was Amber Zeop.

The editorial:
Issue three is done!! It has been a hecktic [sic] few months but it is here. This issue includes the convention report, hope you enjoy it..
The fifth season has begun and I am enjoying it as I hope all of you are too. I hope we will get more Picard/Crusher stories (HA!HA!) Don't we all wish! It has been said that the Troi/Riker romance will continue to be explored and we can look forward to seeing the Next Generation cast on the big screen.
I do apologize for the lateness of the newsletter, but as you can see I bought a new computer and I am still trying to figure everything out. Not an easy task, there is so much I can do!
I look forward to hearing from all of you with answers to the Gates Debate and poems.
