FurVersion is the earliest furry-specific fanzine published by Karl Maurer. It began as a simple list of names and addresses to enable furry fans to contact each other. By issue #3 it began including art and fiction and evolved into a full literary fanzine.
FurVersion 1 was published in May 1987.
FurVersion 21 was published in November 1990.
