Science Fiction AU. Now that cloning is a reality, what's to stop the government from gene-splicing to create the perfect soldier? But, how do you find the gene that creates loyalty? My favorite by TAE. AU's are a particular favorite of mine (if you haven't noticed) and this one is especially well written with a more vulnerable Jim than we're used to. I would've liked to seen more stories in this particular universe...[1]
