Don't let the length of this opus put you off -- this is a terrific story, full of action, adventure and even romance, punctuated with politics, treachery and more twists and turns than I had any notion of before I started reading this. And it stars Sulu and Chekov, finally getting their chance for center stage! Sulu gets to command a mission, and comes out of it perhaps wondering why he ever wanted to be in charge, his friendship with Chekov sorely tested. And Chekov gets a first-hand lesson about the dangers of not being properly briefed before going on an away mission. I found it so gripping and intriguing that I even read the damn thing online as each part was posted, something I *never* do. I literally could not *wait* for each new part to be posted, and there were 65 of them. Amazing. Kudos to Jane and Teegar for pulling this one off. Brava! Now go read it!
