Force Wound is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Anne Higgins.

Summary: Why did Obi-Wan run from those droids? A notion to explain some of the plot holes I see in the movie. And, of course, I fixed the ending because I don't do Death Stories. Even when they're canon.

Author's note:

Author's note: I opted to assume since we saw only the three Jedi during their final combat that the speed with which they fought was ‘adjusted' for the non-Jedi to see, but that they were actually fighting much of the battle at Forced-enhanced speed.

Recs and Reviews

Could also be entitled "Anne Fixes Everything and Makes It All Better." The ultimate TPM "fixer-upper" this fic is for all of us who were depressed by so many of the inconsistencies and plot-holes in the movie. Also has an ending that sat *much* better with us. So, reach for this one, settle back and wait for the smile to come.[1]

Just a sweet shot fic that takes place during The Phantom Menace, but Qui-Gon doesn’t die in the end. A lovely fic to read when you need something lighthearted to cheer you up.[2]
