fkalt3s or The Forever Knight Alternate 3rd Season Project was created to be a Yahoo Group for fans planning a fix-it rewrite of Season 3 of Forever Knight. The public group was founded by Alexa Knight on 1 January 2000. It had 34 members. Posts can be read by non-members.
There were 20 posts in the first month, and 19 in May 2007. However, posts otherwise were sporadic and off-topic; and the group was eventually taken over by spambots.
Group Description
Help create the best of all worlds. Add the new cast without eliminateing the old. This is the third season as it might have, perhaps should have, been. Join me on this journey maybe just maybe tragedy can be undone. Because even if only in our hearts, the Knight is Forever<g>.
Initial Posts
The first two posts were merely introductory. With post 3, however, Alexa introduced members to her vision for an alternative (virtual) Season 3. Posts No. 3 to 16 were all posted on 1 January or 2 January, and comprised a rewritten version of Black Buddha , followed by an Author's Note.

Jan 2, 1999I hope all of you have enjoyed the story so far.
I've tried to set up a similar but subtly different storyline that could go in several directions.
So many of the charectors changed in negative ways while others never really got properly developed at all and I set out to change that while trying to still keep things realistic.
I hope I've done a good job and that all of you will want to help finish this story as well as the rest of the alternate season. I have so many ideas and I'd love to discuss your's as well.

For Nick I would have a prefered a third season in which he made slow progress toward self acceptance and happiness rather then going into the worst tail spin of all.
For Tracy I've tried to start making her into a stronger charector. Still green and maybe not quite ready for her rank but not quite the charector she became on screen.
For Nat the object has been to try and further evolve the first and second season charector the third season charector changes just are not neccesary
For Schanke and Cohen the object is to keep them in the story and I've got a few interesting twists in mind as well.
I'm running out of space and its late but we can do almost anything we want with these charectors as long as it can be justified within the story.

Deborah Hymon's Posts
Starting in December 2002, there were a series of posts made by Deborah Hymon, most of which were about her story "Emotional Concert", at that time a work in progress on her new website. Presumably Deborah had taken over as the new site moderator, since she made a number of general posts thereafter, introducing members to various FK-related material of interest on the web, including articles and photos of Geraint Wyn Davies and his family. On 2 February, she announced Chapter 5 of "Emotional Concert"; on 13 February, she linked to an FK Valentine's Day card on her website; on 17 March she asked for help finding additional parts of someone's fanfic—and so on. Updates, mostly on Deborah's fanfic, continued throughout 2003.
Subsequent Posts
After a couple of FK-related posts from other people, the site was taken over by spam.
