A translated summary of the storyline: "When the Enterpise crew returns after a long mission, they make an eerie discovery: The Federation has changed. It has become a brutal machinery that works alongside Romulans, Klingons, Gorn and Tholian. The ideals of the United Federation of Planets, tolerance and freedom are no more. Violence and efficiency dominate life. All dissenters are hounded mercilessly. Kirk and his friends doubt their sanity. Was time manipulated? Is it all just a bad dream?
