Father's Online Library was an early Beauty and the Beast mailing list for fanfiction. In volume 2 Of Love and Hope (dated April 1995), Lisa Howard reported that it had 42 members. The stories were eventually posted to the web as part of the Songs of the Bluebird website. Submissions were by the authors. Early contributors include Kimberly Prosser, Lisa Swope, and Peg McNabb.
In 1997, the listowner described it: "Father's Online Library is a library of short stories, zines, poems, scripts, etc. (usually written by fans) that I mail out every other week. In the alternate weeks, you receive poetry, catalogs or something else along those lines. *Eventually* the material is uploaded to the Songs of the Bluebird web site. Father's Online Library is sent out to over 200+ fans world wide and is going on its 3rd year. All submissions are accepted." [1]
