Fame, Music, and Magic was a zine planned to center around the celebrities in the Ace Attorney game series. The zine is currently postponed to 2024.
About
The zine was first announced with an interest check on December 18, 2022, as a fanmade, in-universe celebrity magazine featuring celebrity characters from a list curated by the mod team[1]. The zine would be free, open submission, and safe for work. Pairings were allowed, so long as they were approved by the mod team and were not depictions of incest, abuse, or between adults and minors. The zine was planned to be released in early June 2023. Interest checks were closed on January 19, 2023[2].
Applications for an art and merch mod were open from January 22 to February 5, 2023[3]. Applications for a cover artist were open on January 22 to February 5, 2023[4][5]. Submissions were made open on February 20, 2023[6].
On March 29, 2023, the project was announced to be prematurely over, and submissions were no longer being accepted or published[7]. However, there were promises from the mod team to relaunch the project another time in a more regular format.
In the meantime, the project's account hosted an Ace Attorney Fame/Celebrity Week to run from September 1 to September 7, 2023[8].
