Eureka! is a zine project dedicated to the Ace Attorney Investigations games.

About

"Eureka!" is a fan-created anthology project that will focus on the characters and events from the single-player adventure games Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Ace Attorney Investigations 2. It will feature illustration, writing, and physical merchandise.

The project was announced on January 17, 2022, with an interest check that would stay up until February 17th. Contributor applications for approximately 30 artists and 6 writers opened from February 20 to March 20, 2022. The organizers made an emphasis that applicants were required to provide social media for screening out applicants who do work on NFTs and content the organizers considered pedophilic or incestuous. Contributors were also required to have a Discord account and email to maintain communications. Application results were sent by March 27, 2022.

Preorders began on August 29, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• First Class Reasoning ($35 USD) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine, Prints
• The Great Truth Burglar ($45 USD) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine, Prints, Charms, Sticker Sheets, Stickers
• A Heart That Believes ($90 USD) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine, Prints, Charms, Sticker Sheets, Stickers, Candybag Charm, Enamel Pin, Tote Bag

Individual merchandise was also available for purchase since the beginning of preorder sales. Sales were conducted through StoreEnvy, although an Etsy storefront was exclusively created for customers from the United Kingdom. Although orders to Germany could not be shipped due to shipping regulations at the time, the organizers opened a Google form to reserve copies of physical merchandise to potential buyers from Germany. Preorders ended on September 31, 2022.

Throughout the production period, regular posts were made on social media to keep followers updated on the project's progress. All items were officially ordered and received by the organizers by November 23, 2022. Orders were shipped out approximately after November 29th, and by December 11th, all physical orders were confirmed to have been shipped.

Leftover sales were opened on StoreEnvy to domestic (USA) buyers from February 13 to March 1, 2023. Digital zines were available for purchase internationally at this time. An international storefront on Etsy for leftovers was opened on March 3rd. While the leftover store remained active, the project was officially declared complete on March 15, 2023.
