Cosette/Éponine, commonly known as Eposette, is a femslash pairing in the Les Misérables fandom between the characters of Cosette and Éponine Thénardier.
Canon
In the novel, Cosette lives with Éponine's family as a young child, at her family's inn. Cosette is neglected and abused by the Thénardiers, Éponine's parents, while Éponine and her sister Azelma are spoiled by their parents. Some time after Cosette is taken away by Jean Valjean on the orders of her late mother, Fantine, the inn fails and the family becomes impoverished. Later, as young adults, Cosette and Éponine's paths cross again when they both fall in love with the same man, Marius Pontmercy. Éponine recognizes her when helping Marius track her down and she is jealous of her. Éponine eventually sacrifices herself for Marius, while Cosette goes on to marry him.
