Dreams, Genes and Memory Loss is an adult het Beauty and the Beast (TV) 225-page novel by Michele Hawley.
Reactions and Reviews
A most unusual novel starting off with V/C having other lovers and ending up with Vincent discovering that his relatives are French-Canadian “Big Feet” being hunted and experimented on by a nasty government agency. Jean Luc (no: not that Jean Luc!), a Bigfoot and probably Vincent's brother, is an original and most revealing character. Good storytelling (in spite of the occasional typo), fun, and there's a very explicit clinch with somebody about every 20 pages. [1]
This story line finds us 10 years beyond TRIS, 3rd season having been only Vincent's bad dream and Catherine's pregnancy a false alarm. Vincent has ended their relationship and is now married with two children, expecting a third. Catherine has an affair with Joe and Vincent's look-alike cousin. Vincent has also been visiting Catherine while she sleeps and when she gets pregnant, he leaves his wife to set up a new life in Canada with Catherine and their daughter. Things go awry and, in his efforts to reunite his family, Vincent discovers he is part Canadian 'Big Foot.' Explicit sex. [2]
Rated Adult: Vincent and Catherine in physical relationship, but also Vincent with others, and Catherine with others. [3]
