About

The fanzine was announced to be coming soon on October 7, 2020. Interest checks ran from October 10 to October 30, 2020. A reported total of 221 responses was received, and a more detailed report of the interest check results was published on November 10th. The zine was then decided to be scrapbook-themed with the name of Drawing Days, the title of the first opening theme song of the anime adaptation of the series.

Applications for a finance and shipping mod opened from October 14 to November 5, 2020. Contributor applications for page artists, merch artists, and writers opened from November 15 to December 15, 2020. All results were emailed out by December 22, 2020. A full lineup of contributors was publicly announced on January 12, 2021.

Preorders opened on May 17, 2021, with the following pricing tiers:

• Sketch Bundle - PDF Zine
• Lineart Bundle - Physical Zine, PDF Zine, 3 Random Character Cards
• Colour Bundle - Physical Zine, PDF Zine, Sticker Sheet, Prints, Die-cut Stickers, 6 Random Character Cards
• Canvas Bundle - Physical Zine, PDF Zine, Sticker Sheet, Prints, Die-cut Stickers, Acrylic Charms, All Character Cards

Stretch goals included a notepad at 35 orders, an enamel pin at 50 orders, and a gold foil stamping on physical zines at 100 orders. A giveaway was hosted from May 24 to June 14, 2021, for a physical copy of the zine with a merch item of the winner's choice, and a runner up prize for a full set of character cards. Preorders closed on June 17, 2021. In an answered question on Curious Cat, over 200 orders were reported to have been made.

Shipping of physical orders began on September 5, 2021. Some orders to Australia were delayed due to USPS suspending service to Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. All orders were shipped out and all PDFs were sent out by October 22, 2021. Leftover sales were opened on January 15, 2022. The zine's online shopped closed on February 5, 2022.
