Reactions and Reviews
Rosemary's a fabulous writer and I've enjoyed her work in Man from UNCLE and other fandoms. I don't typically like stories that stray from my favourite pairing, but this one was an exception. I couldn't stop reading it, and I think that's a tribute to the skill of the writer. There's lots of plot, well-developed characters, and the boys are spot on. I don't want to give too much away, but there's a lot of angst and yet there's also a certain poignancy to this story. You'll feel for everybody involved.[1]
I loved the issues that were handled, and the way in which they were handled. Original and heartbreaking without leaving me shattered. Nice hopeful ending -- just what I needed after the rollercoaster ride before, lol.[2]
Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be an entirely different type of fic when I first read it, and then I got hooked into it.[3]
I have to confess, I had to go to the end and just make sure it was a happy enough ending for me. Lol, still feeling fragile around really angsty stories. I did wonder halfway through if that was actually the "right" ending for me, but that made me doubt my first impression after skimming the last line and really pulled me in.[4]
