AUTHOR'S NOTES: This story is an alternate ending to Kikkimax's "The Long Goodbye," and is written with her permission. The crime, its resolution and several of the original characters belong to Kikki. You really need to read her story first, to appreciate this one. Treat this as a missing scene, or alternate scene. It is not a stand-alone story...
