Fraser's life isn't how he remembers it (or doesn't remember it, to be more accurate). Being Fraser, he investigates systematically. Apparently I am in a Victoria mood this month since this is my third recommendation that involves her although this should round out my Victorians (so to speak). Not an AU or an AR but the span of a life between one breath and the next. I really enjoy the premise of this story and like how Fraser's investigative mechanisms remain the same. Fraser has very rigid habits and although the story maintains them, it does so while providing Fraser a realistic way to follow his instincts and believe his emotions [1]
