Diana Smith was a fanwriter who wrote numerous zine stories with another author, Pat Dunn.

Smith and Dunn also created the vampire original characters Nicholas and Varina.

Pcdfanwriter adds: "Sadly, Diana passed away in April of 2020. She was a very dear friend of mine, and tremendously creative. She was never happier when writing, or when doing "research" by reading historical books or watching (and rewatching) episodes of the shows we were most into at the time. I miss those times, and I'm glad I had them, as well as the trips to conventions, and to the movies...I guess the best thing to say is to paraphrase a quote from A.A. Milne: "You were braver than you believed, stronger than you seemed, and smarter than you thought." Thank you. Rest in peace.
