Why MFU? What is it about the show that fueled your creativity?
Without a doubt it's the chemistry between the two main characters. Even when I was watching it as a kid I was more interested in the characters than I was about the plot of the show. They're just so easy to love, and of course now that I've come back to is as an adult it was pretty much impossible not to be inspired into putting those characters into different settings and exploring what might happen.
What keeps you passionate about creating in the MFU universe?
Well, as I mentioned, I'm still very new in the MFU universe so that the moment the show is inspiring me as well as all the wonderfully creative fic I'm reading. It helps that I've got a lot of friends who I've talked into watching it as well so we can squee and get excited together. Just today I had three different friends texting me while they were watching different episodes to flail about how much they were enjoying it.
Are you swayed by other’s reactions to your work or have you set a course and stayed upon it?
I have to say I've been pretty fortunate and have been in fandoms where people try their best to give positive feedback. I suppose I've been swayed by my beta readers’ comments to my work more than anything. They have taught me how to improve over the years. Still can't get the hang of commas though. I think they will be the bane of my life until I die: D
