Description
DawnSisters MUSH is a multi-player, interactive roleplaying environment played via the Internet. Unlike most other Pern-themed MUSHes, DawnSisters accepts the All the Weyrs of Pern novel as canon, and plays out the world-changing implications of the book.The DawnSisters environment is a dynamic one; anything can change, based on roleplaying and plot interaction. Characters take roles in virtually any part of Pernese society, including a number of factions that are directly opposed to each other; these conflicts are what drive the majority of the tinyplots on the game.
While new players are always welcome, DawnSisters might not be the best MUSH for those who are new to online Pern-themed roleplaying. One of the more traditional MUSHes, such as PernMUSH or SouCon, will offer the new player a more "user-friendly" game, and can increase awareness of the special theme and differences of DawnSisters MUSH.
Roleplay on DawnSisters is almost entirely self-generated; players are expected to be able to initiate roleplay among themselves without needing structured guidelines from the administrators. Administrator input is only needed for plots that will have large effects that cannot simply be roleplayed by the parties involved. (For example, the destruction of a hold.)
