- "The Just David Fan Club" was started in May 1974 by Tina Funk in Germany; the club's newsletter was in German
- "The David Cassidy Fan Club" run by Urda Voss; while out of Germany, this club was in English. The club newsletter: "Da-idy Newsletter" printed in English.
- "The David Cassidy Appreciation Society" or DCAS was based in based in England and run by Lain Waymark
- "Da-idy Fan Club" was started in October 1981, started by by Cathy Ortiz
- "Official International David Cassidy Fan Club" was formed with "Da-idy Fan Club" and "The David Cassidy Fan Club" merged in 1983, shortly afterwards these two clubs diverved and became "Official David Cassidy Fan Club" with the "Da-idy Newsletter" and the "The Official Friends of David Cassidy Fan Club" with the "Da-idy Magazine"
