Reviews and Reactions

Read this in one sitting last night (yay extra day of vacation!) and I just have to say that I enjoyed this so so very much. You write Oliver and Felicity in one of the most realistic and thoughtful ways I've seen. You just really explore the depth of their characters. Your Felicity is *the* most fleshed-out Felicity I've read in any fanfic so far. I appreciate it more than I can say...I can't wait to get a bit more of her background in S2 (probably not going to be the extent you've done it here but I think the writers are integrating her more so I hope we just get the briefest glimpse into her personal life or background this year).

I love the way you showed how their friendship emerged. I loved Lindsay as Felicity's best friend.

I love the realism in that Oliver still had unresolved feelings for Laurel and the two of them couldn't go down that road yet. Oliver cares for Felicity but, yes, it's not love yet. It's more than curiosity at the same time.[1]

This was great, but I'm really looking forward to the sequel to get a happy resolution ;) I prefer to wait til fics are completed before reading, so consider this my encouragement to keep writing![2]

A friend recced this out to me this morning and I intended to read it bit by bit over the weekend, but then I ended up enjoying it too much and read it all today.[3]

You kind of left the story off in a really weird spot without any kind of resolution at all[4]

Damn it! I started reading this story because it was under complete, but it has a sequel! Why must you toy with my emotions! Although it looks like the sequel hasn't gotten some love in a long time, which never bodes well :( But anyways, I enjoyed reading this and you are a fantastic writer![5]
