Daniel (Dan) Munson is a theatre professional and playwright. He has worked Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at significant theatres around the country (including The Kennedy Center and the Pasadena Playhouse). He is a published playwright and some of his works have been translated and performed around the world. In fandom, Daniel attended his first Star Trek convention in 1976 at the Toronto Star Trek Convention. It was there that he had a photograph taken of himself standing next to Walter Koenig. Years later, Dan would work with Walter at a small theatre in North Hollywood and recalls playing ping pong against Walter one evening at an opening night party.
Dan attended a number of Minicons (Minneapolis sci-fi conventions) throughout the 1970s.
Dan was the editor of Phaser Blast, a Star Trek zine.
