Dale Hart was an early science fiction fan who joined fandom in 1937 after discovering Fantasy Magazine. He was present at the first Worldcon in 1939, and was a member of FAPA, the Science-Fiction Association, the Sacred Order of FooFoo, the Oklahoma Scientifiction Association, and WAFFF.
