DTIYS, which is an acronym for Draw This In Your Style, is a type of fanart challenge. The instigator will pick a prompt, which could be an existing piece of fanart fanart, official art from canon, or unrelated photos and art (or even a word description) and challenge other artists to create a piece based on that image but with their own style. Participants then tag their submissions with #DTIYS (or sometimes #DIYS) and tag the challenge runner, who might collect all submissions.
Some people also use this tag to label their screenshot redraws created separately of any challenge or group event.
The term may have originated or been popularized on Instagram[1] but is used broadly on Twitter, Deviantart, and Tumblr as well.[2]
