I highly recommend anything by prufrock's love, but especially this one (one of my favorite fanfics ever.) The story is comprised of several pieces that each take a day out of a few consecutive months and document Mulder and Scully's slowly growing relationship. I love the gradualness of this story, the small steps they take together, the abruptly tender moments and the humorous jibes. It also does a nice job attempting to clarify Mulder's past romantic entanglements.[1]
This is such a great fic. It definitely falls under the "Classics" designation in my book. No matter how many times I read it, it just gets better.[2]
i love this author and i really wish i could get into historical au's because that's all he seems to be writing these days...this one, however, is not an au...just another nice shippy fic with superb characterization...[3]
