Crossovering was a multifandom crossover fanfic and fanart exchange which ran from 2014-2018. Participants matched with their recipients on at least two fandoms; there was medium matching for art or fic but no matching for characters or relationships.
The last exchange was hosted in 2018, with no further plans for continuing in future years.[1]
Rules
There are no restrictions on requested fandoms, but specific characters or pairings are not able to be requests. Fanfics must be at least 1000 words and a complete story. Fanart must be a minimum size of 500,000 pixels and cannot be drawn on lined paper.[2]
Participants must have an AO3 account, as all fics submitted for the exchange will be hosted there and collected into yearly collections.
Schedule
Nominations for fandoms start in late July. Sign-ups start in August and assignments sent late August. Assignments are due in early October, and completed works are posted mid-October. Author reveals are late October.
