Crimson Ink was a mailing list and associated archive. It was active from December 1999 through 2003. It was a "Yaoi/Slash writer's Mailing List. Its purpose is to provide a forum for discussion for serious writers and readers of homoerotica of the Yaoi/Slash genre."
The list is significant in part because it shows the lack of separation between fanfic and original content in this area of fandom at the time.
