One-page fragment for Valentine's. Fun for chocoholics and a nice bittersweet twist in the last sentence.[1]
Another good one (and another first time one) - a bit less nice than the others, but still with lots of affection, etc. You can definitely see the two writers balancing each other out, particularly in the dialogue - well, I think I can, having read two stories from each of them in quick succession. It's not a bad thing, anyway, although I slightly prefer the less stylised Helen Patrick stuff. Anyway - as I said, this is another good one.[2]
