NEFilk is the filk convention of the northeastern United States, which is held in various locations with various names, including ConCerto, ConCertino, Conterpoint, and Contata. It's usually held in June or July. The name "NEFilk" was established in 2000, although it was "backdated" to describe previous conventions in the group.[1]
In 2017, its website moved to Wordpress, and much of the previous info is now only available via the Wayback Machine.
History
In 2020, it was held online, with no registration or fees required, via Discord and Zoom, with open chat in both places, and performances managed by moderators muting everyone except specific performers.
