Author's Comments
It’s such a powerful scene in “Sweet Science” – one of my very most favorite episodes – when Blair steps in front of Jim, trying to talk down an armed Jamie. Even though Jim is very cool during the scene, I don’t think he was as a-okay as he seemed with Blair, a civilian, trying to take charge like that and putting himself in extreme danger. In retrospect, I think this story came out rather weak, though I do like that little scene on the stairs.[1]
