Sonic the Hedgehog vs Dragon Ball! These two inspirations of hope are as pure as they come, and now they're finally colliding in a mix of chaos and ki! Can Sonic outspeed the Super Saiyan, or will Goku show the Blue Blur what he's made of?

The references, the characterization, the usage of their powers was done so well and clearly came from a place of love and passion for these two long-spanning franchises. You’ve really honored their legacies as much as ya could, Salty! This better win Battle of the Year, hell, this might even be battle of the decade at this rate!

Wow.....Just Wow. This battle was freaking awesome. Great banter, treating both combatants with the respect they deserve, using their powers in creative ways not seen in canon, etc....I could probably gush about this battle with no end in sight so I want to simply say this instead; You definitely deserve to win Best Battle of 2024 for this masterpiece.[2]
