Christian_HPFan is a LiveJournal community for Christian Harry Potter fans. The community is open to both fanfiction and slash.
I created this community because there has been extreme controversy over the Harry Potter series, people who believe that because we enjoy a book, we are going to Hell. Well this community is for Christians who love Harry Potter. I have been raised in a very religious family and have gone to church every week since I was a baby, so I guess you could say that I am pretty in touch with my faith. In my heart, I believe that we have nothing to fear by loving this book, as long as we recognize what it truely is, a great work of fiction. Now if we were all trying to do spells and running around trying to hex people, that would be something different, but all we are doing is enjoying the wonderful world that Rowling created.
