Checklist'? i always get the title wrong, but it's the one where Jim's spidey sense tingles so he goes all over tarnation looking for Blair (who's been kidnapped, of course... again...), all the while going down his mental lists of 'what to do next'. it's incredibly funny, especially since it turns out that he got ahold of some bad chicken, and that's why he got 'sick'. i love that piece, makes me laugh out loud every single time.

The only bad thing I can say about Johanna is that she doesn't write enough! The woman is a genius with humor! Everything from her timing to her incredibly funny one-liners are perfect! As for "Checklist" in particular. . . well, I think the reason I find it so completely hilarious is that I can sooo see Jim meticulously following a "To Do" list in his head . . . even when his Guide is in danger. Oh! And Blair! Heheheheh, can we say, "blasé Blair kidnap victim"? Hehehehe, c'mon, I know you can...

Jim is having a problem with his senses. He has several mental checklists so that he can cope with any situations that might arise. Among these situations is Blair being kidnapped... again. There's a fair amount of humour in this story, some of it very nice one-liners. It's a little unfinished, because we don't learn what the kidnapper has against Jim, but that doesn't really matter; he's really just there to provide some of the humour.
