Chaos Walking is a YA sci-fi book series by Patrick Ness, beginning in 2008 with The Knife of Never Letting Go. It features a world populated solely by men, whose thoughts are all visible to each other through images, sounds and words known as Noise.
The series is known for being fairly dark, and dealing with heavy subject matter.
A film adaptation, delayed several times before finally releasing in 2021, featured Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley
