Caractacus Potts/Nevada Ramirez is the slash pairing between Caractacus Potts and Nevada Ramirez from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Trouble in the Heights respectively. The ship appears to have been created as a result of Same-Actor Crossover regarding the actor Raúl Esparza, who portrayed Caractacus on Broadway for the CCBB stage musical in 2005, and Nevada in the TITH film in 2011. In response to a Tumblr ask, one user explained it thusly:
There is no connection except Raúl playing Nevada in Heights and Caractacus in Chitty. Someone created the crackship Nevactacus by pairing Nevada and Caractacus, the two Raúl characters, together. I thought it was a fun challenge to try to write them at first, and then it became fun to continue writing them.[1]
The ship makes up a significant portion of fics in both fandoms.

listen, i don't care what people ship (within reason) and i don't want to yuck anyone's yum, but i think one of the funniest things about the raúl esparza fandom is people shipping nevada ramirez (drug kingpin who intimidated a ten year old boy so badly the kid wet his pants and then threw said child off of a bridge and under a moving train within the first like half hour of the movie) with raúl's caractacus potts (20th century british man who staged a literal coup for the sake of his own children and all the other children in the kingdom)
