Candy Hearts was a gift exchange modeled after Chocolate Box, where participants are matched based on ships. They then produce either fanfiction or fanart. As a low-effort exchange in the vein of Trick or Treat, Candy Hearts required fanfiction produced as a main assignment be 300 or more words and fanart only had to be not on lined paper.
