Call Me By Your Name is a movie directed by Luca Guadagnino, starring Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet, based on the 2007 novel by the same name by André Aciman.
Set in 1983, the movie depicts the passionate love affair between 17-year-old Franco-Italian Elio Perlman and Oliver, the 24-year-old American grad student who spends one summer in Elio's parents' house to participate in an archeological dig with Elio's father.
A sequel is in preparation, based on the novel's sequel, Find Me (2019). The director and main actors should return.[1] The sequel will be set 10 years after the events of the first installment.
